ORA MUNE GOLD LIQUID COLOSTRUM

SKU ORA MUNE GOLD

Colostrum is the pre-milk fluid of lactating mammals and the first food intended to enter our mouths. It is therefore nature's most perfect food. Ora Mune Gold liquid colostrum from cows is manufactured under the most exacting conditions to make our internal health perfect.

ORA MUNE GOLD LIQUID COLOSTRUM IS:
• Obtained from USDA and FDA inspected dairies.
• Collected within 12 hours of production.
• Free of synthetic hormones, pesticides and antibiotics.
• Processed to be gluten free and casein free at detectable laboratory levels. Every batch is tested to be casein free by an independent laboratory.
• Sterile and free of bacteria, pathogens and other contaminants.

COLOSTRUM CONTENTS:
1.
IMMUNE FACTORS

A. IMMUNE GLOBULINS AND ANTIBODIES.
Protein molecules against a number of pathogens including candidas, E. coli, enteric bacteria, salmonella species as well as H. pylori.

B. CYTOKINES.
Interferons; A family of small proteins that inhibit growth of tumor cells, exhibit general anti viral activity and activate natural killer cells. Interleukins; Messenger molecules involved in cell growth, immune modulation and defense.

C. LACTOFERRIN.
An anion binding glycoprotein with general antimicrobial activity that helps control acne and skin infections. In addition lactoferrin has been shown to stimulate the growth of fibroblasts and intestinal epithelial cells in vitro, suggesting that it may be important in regulating gut growth and regeneration. Lactoferrin is also a natural immune modulator known to correct cytokine imbalance by influencing levels of both pro-inflammatory cytokines (Tumor necrosis factor alpha, interleukin—1 beta, interleukin-6) and anti-inflammatory cytokins (interleukin—4 and 10). Tumor necrosis factor alpha is implicated in irritable bowl syndrome, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease,
rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis and cancer among others.

2. GROWTH FACTORS
A. EPIDERMAL GROWTH FACTOR.
A 53 amino acid peptide that in the intestinal lumen stimulates the repair process at the site of injury.
B. EPITHELIAL GROWTH FACTOR.
Required for the growth and regeneration of healthy skin and repair of local gut injury.
C. TRANSFORMING GROWTH FACTORS ALPHA AND BETA.
These two peptides complement each other in a broad range of
activities such as mediating gastrointestinal integrity, inhibit acid secretion (Alpha), and control balance between cell proliferation and
differentiation. TGF Beta is also a chemoattractant for neutrophils and stimulates epithelial cell migration at wound sites.
D. INSULIN–LIKE GROWTH FACTORS.
Two insulin-like growth factors IGF-I and IGF-II are synthesized in the liver and promote cell proliferation and differentiation. Both factors are expressed in particularly high amounts in the developing human fetal stomach and small intestine. Bovine colostrum contains much higher concentrations of IGF-I than does human colostrum (500 compared with 18 microgram/liter). IGF-I and related molecules increase muscle mass on a species of “Schwarzenegger” mice. IGF-I also seems to aid wound healing and delay some signs of aging. IGF-I is an anabolic agent and is at least partly responsible for mediating the growth promoting activity of growth hormone (GF). IGF-II like IGF-I has anabolic activity and has been shown to reduce the catabolic state in starved animals.
E. PLATELET-DERIVED FACTOR (PDGF).
PDGF is a potent mitogen and has been shown to facilitate ulcer healing when administered orally to animals.
F. VASCULAR ENDOTHELIAL GROWTH FACTOR (VEGF).
VEGF is a potent angiogenic, mitogenic and vascular permeability enhancing factor. Its angiogenic activity plays an important role in healing conditions such as peptic ulcers and damaged heart muscle.

3.
ANTIOXIDANTS. Vitamins A, C, and E

4. AMINO ACIDS. The building blocks of proteins.

5. SELENIUM. An essential mineral.
