EGG YOLK ANTIBODIES
Birds like mammals have an immune system and are capable of producing
antibodies, or serum immunoglobulins. While the egg is still in the ovary,
hens transfer their serum immunoglobulins (also called IgY) into the yolk.
These protein antibodies specifically bind to antigens such as bacteria,
viruses, fungi, or yeasts, carcinogens, toxins, and neutralize the harmful
effects of these pathogens or toxins.

Candidiasis is a multifaceted infection that may involve the mucous
membranes, nails, vagina, mouth and tongue (oral thrush), the esophagus,
and intestinal tract. In case of hematogenous dissemination, the eyes, skin,
kidneys, and brain may be involved. Indeed there are no boundaries to
infection with Candida. The extent and severity of the infection depends on
the individual’s immune status and may manifest itself as a simple sore or
life threatening disease. Antibiotic therapy of candidiasis is often ineffective
and may cause toxic side effects. Another possible therapeutic approach is
passive immunization using egg yolk anti Candida antibody. |
Ora Mune Supra is a combination of egg yolk anti Candida albicans antibody plus
Transfer Factor. The anti candida antibody provides specific passive immunity
against Candida albicans while Transfer Factor enhances and supports the immune
system in general as discussed above.
